The Senior Tax Accountant would have a dual role: managing diverse UK tax compliance topics and providing tax support to our operations in the UK as well as managing the quarterly tax provision process for our UK entities. tax operationsTax complianceManage and review the preparation of annual corporate income tax returns, the CT600 (tax compliance services will be provided by an external service provider) + review VAT returnsManagement WHT clearance processManagement R&D claim process for the companies in the UKTax review of the annual accounts and tax analysis for financial auditorsMonitor changes in Tax legislation and international developments impacting our companies in the UKSupport group tax team in implementation of tax projects and transfer pricing policies impacting the UK entitiesTax administrative tasksManagement of cash tax payment and refundsTax Residence certificate requestsLiaise with HMRC, manage and support in tax auditsUS tax

Education/Certification

Requirements and ExperienceBachelor or Master degree in Tax law or in Accounting or EconomicsRequired Minimum Years of Experience:

minimum of 5 years of experience acquired in the tax department of a US multinational, a Big 4, tax accounting firm, multinational technology company...Preferred Qualifications and SkillsPreferably CTA qualified, however, ACA/ACCA qualified candidates with extensive tax experience will be

consideredExperience:

Thorough knowledge of and experience with UK corporate tax laws, minimum of 5 years of experience with domestic corporate tax filings, US tax accounting (ASC 740) as well as US GAAP/IFRS knowledge requiredExperience in managing relationships with various in- and external stakeholders including the HMRCIT skills required: extensive use of Microsoft Excel & Word and experience with tax and accounting software preferred (e.g., Longview, Oracle).Soft skills required: good communication and writing skills to interact with various departments, good analytical and organizational skills and detail oriented#LI-MH1CULTURE AND VALUES Culture and values are incredibly important to Ansys.
