AP & AR Finance Manager, Asia

Responsibilities:

Identify and seek to maximize any opportunities to increase the profitability of the business through improved use of capital and cost control.
Oversee and manage relevant area of responsibility to ensure compliance with the appropriate statutory, legal and regulatory requirements, codes of conduct and best practice guidelines.
Resolve financial and/or management accounting and regulatory issues to ensure accurate reporting.
Manage internal controls over authorities and banking signatories to ensure continuous integrity of processes are maintained and adhered to (if applicable).
Produce and submit all executive management reports, statutory reports, regulatory returns and Group finance reports in line with specified timescales to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
Manage a team of finance employees to ensure that the overall output and quality of the service provided by the team meets customer expectations and is within specified levels.
Ensure all team members have up to date PMP forms and development plans and put in place a process for regular review to monitor progress against objectives.
Support the general management and development of the Finance and Accounts department to ensure effective use of resources in line with business needs.

Requirements:

Professional accounting qualification.
10+ years' experience in an accounting role.
Significant experience in accounting at a senior level
Proven post qualification experience within the insurance or Financial Services industry desirable.
Strong technical knowledge of the current statutory, legal and regulatory and Group requirements.
ood understanding of IT solutions to address finance accounting, regulatory and reporting issues.
