This position will allow you to be leading a large team in a well known PLC company overseeing the property and construction division of the business.
Our client is a well known PLC in the property and construction industry and is currently looking for a bright and talented individual to join their team.
DescriptionTo implement all policies, activities, procedures and instructions as required by the Quality Management System or Quality, Health & Safety Management System accordingly.
To ensure the Company's Financial Accounts are compliance to Bursa and in accordance with Statutory Requirements and Malaysian Accounting Standards.
To manage both the Property Development section and the Construction section of the Finance Department.
To prepare and submit to the Management periodic Management Accounts based on the reporting deadlines set by the Management.
To manage and control company's expenditure according to budget and to implement necessary cost control measures.
To review and monitor the company's financial position and cash flow on a regular basis including preparing Profit & Cash flow forecast as and when required.
To monitor the overall company status, turnover, revenue records, cash flow and various financial statistics.
To ensure timely submission of the company's annual tax return to Inland Revenue Board in accordance with statutory requirements.
To liaise with Bankers, Auditors, Tax Agents, Lawyer and government bodies for finance, admin and legal related matters.
To manage the yearly audit activities of the company.
To be involved in the preparation of strategic plan and budgets.
To ensure the organization's internal control system are in line with company's objective.
Lead in creating, implementing and maintaining accounting and financial internal control systems. Ensure the internal control system is in line with the company's objectives.
To review overall sales and billing analysis for monthly meeting.
To be in charge in securing, bridging and/project financing.
To manage and develop the Finance staff.
To attend internal audit training and to conduct internal audit as and when required by the company.
To undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
ProfileProfessional qualification preferred ( ACCA/ CPA/ MIA/ ICAEW etc)
Minimum 10 years working experience in construction/development industry and 5 years in managerial position
Experienced in strata title and good accounting knowledge
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Well organized, detailed and analytical with good business acumen
