Our client is looking to hire a Junior Analyst for their growing Finance team in Banbury. The individual must have some previous accounting experience to date.

Description

The Junior Analyst will support the Finance team based in Banbury with a range of tasks including:

• Reporting into the Finance Manager and supporting on all the month end analysis
• Production of Weekly and Monthly reports that provide key insights across sales, margin etc.
• Obtaining efficiencies and time-savings across month-end close process and reporting
• Working alongside other stakeholders to gain understanding of all Management reports and resolving any queries that might arise
• Support the wider finance team with the enhancement of business and reporting processes
• Maintenance of various Excel based financial models
• Always look to improve and ensure data integrity for accurate financial reporting
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Profile

The successful Junior Analyst will have already had a strong start to their career within Finance with proven experience in a transactional accounting role. The individual must also have strong Excel skills and be keen to improve their reporting and systems skills to support the team with their reporting and analysis requirements.

A keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills and a desire to develop their career within Finance alongside accountancy qualifications would be ideal.

Job Offer

The salary on offer is between £24,000 and £28,000 dependent upon experience plus a generous benefits package.
