The opportunityWe are looking for Forensic Accountants (Senior Consultant) within the Forensics & Integrity Services team across any of our offices in Australia i.e. Sydney, Melbourne, Perth or Brisbane.In this role you will be working on some of the largest, high profile disputes, investigations and regulatory matters in one of the most exciting areas of professional services. You will work alongside an experienced leadership group that is focused on driving growth in the market.The successful candidate will join one of Oceania's fastest growing forensic practices. Your key responsibilitiesSenior Consultants in our Forensics & Integrity team will be:
- Working as part of a team on engagements, such as disputes, fraud and misconduct investigations or regulatory matters
- Conducting a wide range of tasks, for example, financial analysis, document review and reporting
- Working closely with major clients to understand complex forensic accounting issues and ensuring high quality project delivery
- Liaising with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, lawyers, insurers and Partners
- Drafting investigation and expert witness reports, ensuring high quality project delivery
- Contributing to the development of the FIS team as a whole
- Previous work experience as a forensic accountant, corporate compliance or risk management professional or external auditor
- Experience working within a similar professional services environment
- Membership with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand ("CAANZ") (or equivalent) or be undertaking studies to be admitted to CAANZ
- Report writing skills and attention to detail is a must
- High proficiency with excel and financial models
- A willingness to travel within Australia and abroad
- High analytical focus and drive for professional skepticism
