About the role

A fantastic opportunity to join our Commercial Finance Transformation team has arisen on a permanent basis. As the Business Analyst, you will partner with the team to drive and deliver key objectives within Finance Transformation for the betterment of decision making. An exciting time for Coles, you will be at the forefront of digital, technological and process change for our Supermarkets.

What you'll be doing:

You will provide key data and process support to various stakeholders and teams for change across our Business Units and Digital Functions.

You'll also:
  • Deliver finance transformation initiatives/projects - responsible for driving the delivery of the Supermarkets digital, technology and process transformation projects.
  • Build dashboards to deliver commercial insight - Build, develop and maintain dashboards including data models and performance metrics that provide valuable insights and supports key business decisions.
  • Undertake existing reporting until new transformation initiatives delivered - Partner with business units to understand their businesses, stakeholder expectations, priorities and challenges in relation to existing reporting/systems/processes.


Good things you'll need

We're a financially savvy Business Analyst that loves data, analytics and Power BI and is exceptional with financial modelling.

You'll also need:
  • Exceptional analytical and insight skills (very strong Excel/modelling skills)
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards & reports to clearly communicate data insights
  • Knowledge of Power BI (Snowflake advantageous but not essential)
  • Curiosity and tenacity to drive for required outcomes
  • Good influencing, partnering skills and commercial mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with PowerPoint
  • Process management and improvement experience
