Assistant Financial Accountant

We're looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join Objective who will be responsible for the end to end accounts receivable function; including sales invoices, accounts receivable and debtor's collection, assisting with the accounts payables function and providing ad hoc support to the APAC Finance team. The Assistant Financial Accountant is also responsible for sending out quotes to customers and obtaining purchase orders from those customers. This role will give you an opportunity to get hands-on accounting experience and grow internally.

Your day will look like:

• Sending out quotes for subscription renewals to customers and obtaining purchase orders from those customers
• Producing accurate invoices on behalf of the company ensuring appropriate revenue recognition
• Assisting in the USP invoicing process by updating USP objects and preparing USP invoices
• Ensuring recurring revenue invoices are raised and approved in a timely manner
• Receipting of payments in accounting systems
• Assisting the Credit Controller with cash collections re sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations and assisting with other month-end procedures
• Supporting the finance and admin team on an ad hoc basis

A bit about you:

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience and finance related skills and knowledge to deliver results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritise and organise work
• Motivated, pro-active with a 'can-do' attitude
• Advanced Excel knowledge e.g experience with complex Excel Models, pivot tables, power query
• Experience using NetSuite and OpenAir desirable
