A leading firm of chartered accountants based in Yeovil is searching for a mixed tax, compliance and advisory focused professional to join them. The firm is seeking a Mixed Tax, Compliance and Advisory Manager mouldable around the right individual's career experience and background. Client Details

Based in Yeovil this accountancy practice has grown positively, both through organic client growth and successful acquisitions and mergers, with firms across the region and wider South West. The firms client base is very varied, across OMBs and SMEs and larger corporate and AIM listed clients delivering compliance and advisory/tax planning services across all areas of personal and corporate tax. There is an experienced tax team reporting to partners delivering complex compliance and planning services to private and corporate clients across mixed tax roles. Project work varies across across HNWIs personal tax advisory work, IHT and estate planning, residency and domicile work and international advisory tax issues, shareholder tax planning, transfer of shares, EMIs and transactional tax, M&A work etc.

Description

Joining the Yeovil team as Mixed Tax, Compliance and Advisory Manager you will carve a key role in this firms tax team and department, taking a lead on the delivery of wide ranging tax projects, across both personal, private client and corporate tax planning opportunities, along with overseeing the delivery of a quality compliance service, managing a team. You will work with partners across the firm delivering advisory/planning delivery and be looking to take initiative and lead on research and projects, working closely with partners to ensure a quality service, in a client facing role. You will have the experience to help support and mentor more junior team members. Profile

You will be any of ACA/ACCA qualified and/or, ATT / CTA qualified, with a demonstrable strong background across personal and/or corporate tax, with experience of delivering advisory and planning projects, gained within the accountancy practice sector, or a specialist tax firm. You may have either a personal, private client focused background to date, or you may be more corporate tax focused, or have an existing mixed tax focused background. The key requirement will be a strength in advisory focused work, across any of these areas and you will be looking to build on your advisory focused tax career and progress, within a leading firm of accountants.

Job Offer
