Description

In this role, you'll be working in the Multi Asset Team which is responsible for the Group's cross asset offering. The open architecture ensures that investment professionals have independent access to best-in-class managers to achieve set goals and satisfy investor needs. We offer a multinational and collaborative working environment together with a small team of experienced investment professionals.

We need someone who is passionate about communicating and interacting with investment management specialists, focused on learning and questioning every detail about their investment strategy, portfolio and risk. You should have a hands-on approach, continually driven to improve internal processes and decisions, and be able to adapt to the ongoing changes in the financial industry.

You will be contributing to projects for discovering and evaluating the best asset managers across asset classes and will be expected to:

• Conduct research and initial due diligence on investment managers across asset classes with the option to specialise in certain specific asset classes
• Participate in and, over time, lead meetings with investment managers and critically evaluate the investment strategy & process, team, risk controls and other fund particulars (liquidity, terms, structure, etc.)
• Document the full investment manager evaluation and prepare due diligence reports, investment recommendations and presentation materials to the investment committee
• Together with the team you will be responsible for in-depth manager monitoring across all strategies
• Prepare written findings you get from ongoing manager due diligence and monitoring and present those to internal group meeting
• Support senior team members in their daily work, including ensuring portfolio and market data and analytical reports are kept up to date
• Depending on investor needs and active investment projects, build special expertise in certain asset classes or investment areas. Recognise new industry trends and generate ideas to further enhance the groups product range
• Participate in and assist in the preparation for the Investment Committee meetings

Profile

Requirements:

• Sound knowledge of the investment management industry including knowledge of different asset classes and investment strategies
• Some experience in manager selection would be an advantage
• Master's degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance or similar. CFA, CAIA or FRM is a plus
• Fluent in English and German
