Critical Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
  • Oversee the issuance of financial information
  • Ensure and preserve the integrity of financial data
  • Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives

Key Functional & Relational Duties & Responsibilities * Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans

  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
  • Manage the accounting, tax, and treasury departments
  • Report financial results to the board of directors
  • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities by advising from a financial perspective on any contracts into which the company may enter into.
  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
  • Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as provide individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals

Requirement :

  • A registered accountant with MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants)
