About the Manager Compliance and Assurance
The Manager Compliance and Assurance is responsible for providing leadership and expert advice to key stakeholders on specialised contract delivery and regulatory and statutory compliance to ensure contractual and performance obligations are met. This role is currently responsible for leading a team of 9 team members.
About you
To succeed in the role, you will be have demonstrated experience working across a high volume of complex contracts withing the VET or Higher Education sector. You possess strong leadership and team building skills as well as exceptional communications skills.
Essential Requirements
1. Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent significant experience.
2. Demonstrated experience in providing advice on contracts and compliance, regulations and standards within the VET and Higher Education sector.
3. Demonstrated experience in reviewing and monitoring contract compliance according to state and federal standards and guiding and coaching others to meet these standards.
4. Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.

This role requires you to undertake internal reviews of contract delivery and performance against the relevant regulatory and contractual requirements and communicate these findings. Please give an example of a time when you have been asked to conduct internal reviews and communicate recommendations and corrective actions required. What was the most challenging part of the process and how did you overcome these challenges? In the role, you will ensure the policy implementation, planning and development of programs meets required contract and compliance requirements. Provide an example of where you have implemented a contract management policy, within an educational framework. What was the policy and what was the outcome?
