About The Role:

The Assistant Director Internal Audit and Integrity provides strategic leadership and direction to the delivery of contemporary internal audit outcomes for the Department. The role ensures internal audit strategies, plans, programs and operations are aligned with the Department's strategic direction and vision and provide an independent source of comprehensive review for the Director General and the management of the Department. The Assistant Director ensures the Internal Audit service using a risk-based approach and in accordance with legislation, relevant charters and Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

These will be delivered through the strong relationships you've built and a deep understanding of business processes. You will demonstrate your strong leadership qualities by driving a tight-knit team to achieve high standards and implementing best practice audit and risk processes with a vision of making the Department of Finance the best place to work.
