Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

Your mission

  • Be an active part during the monthly and quarterly reporting process
  • Update and maintain the financial systems/databases
  • Bank account set-up and reconciliation
  • Provide support for the elaboration of ad hoc financial analysis and presentations
  • Support the CFO to deploy a multitude of projects across the working capital, financial risk management, and funding areas
  • Propose/start/lead process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain documentation of processes and workflows across the organization


Your profile

  • MSc in Economics/Business Administration/Finance/Banking; Insurance/Financial engineering/ or a similar quantitative discipline
  • Able to work independently while being curious and challenge-driven
  • Previous experience in the finance department of a corporate or in a financial institution is a plus
  • Some programming capability is a must for FA, therefore working knowledge of SQL, and Excel/VBA
  • Strong MS Office Excel skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Soft skills, teamwork and good communication
  • Experience with Netsuite or an ERP system is a strong plus
  • Experience in the start-up / scale-up world is a strong plus
  • Fluency in German is a plus
