In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.

Partners with the businesses to ensure that the strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the company.

Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives.

Drives operational excellence though the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives.

Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls.

The role will report directly to the South Pacific CFO / Head of Finance supporting the day to day operational aspects from a sales finance perspective.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides complex financial analysis to the business typically exercising a unique understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
  • Trusted business partner and advisor. Establish a robust and active partnership with business leaders, sales leaders and solution/sales operations leaders.
  • Forecasts financial results within the broadest scope.
  • Accurate and timely updates weekly / monthly forecast / monthly cadence / monthly reporting and annual budget preparation.
  • Consults with business leaders to guide and influence long- term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
  • Leads and advises on the most complex business initiatives and leads several analysts across multiple areas within finance.
  • Quarterly Balance Sheet review with country and region controllership.
  • Drives process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the business.
  • Compliance with the AFM (Accounting and Financial Manual).
  • Early engagement with key stakeholder (Sales/ Opportunity Consultants / GRRO / Solution/Sales Operations / Global Project Finance) during the sales pursuit cycle. Assess P&L impacting areas and optimize revenue and margin treatment.
  • Support internal and external audits requirements.
  • Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes.
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.


Education and Knowledge and Skills: :
  • Degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Experienced in a variety of finance functions.
  • Good in understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Good in analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge in business acumen experience will be a significant advantage.
  • Good knowledge in project management skills.
