The Finance Analyst (Accounts Receivable) is responsible to promote a positive customer experience when dealing with schools and internal stakeholders at all levels in regards to their invoices and payments to the IB. This role will engage via telephone and email with finance department / key contacts within a school when chasing or negotiating past due payments, resolving invoice disputes and other AR related queries with schools. Daily monitoring of AR ledger. Maintain accurate AR records to meet IB audit requirements. To review existing AR processes, identify system issues, recommend process improvement and AR partner role with internal departments within the IB.

Experience: 2.00-5.00 Years
Responsibilities:
- Prepare report on delayed payment >30 days and review weekly with the line manager.
- Weekly contact with schools for past due debts >30 days and report outcome to the line manager.
- Prepare monthly report of accounts >90 days for review by Global AR Manager for escalation for service disruption.
- Bank and AR ledger reconciliation to be done on time every month-end.
- Ensure receipts are applied within 24 hours to school/customer accounts.
- Provide support to local FP&A and FA colleagues, so that replies to regional queries are addressed successfully and in a timely manner.
- Maintain quality customer communication (verbal and written) internal / external.
Requirements:
- Qualification of Diploma/Degree level or equivalent in Finance.
- 5 years of accounts receivables experience with at least 3 years of credit control experience.
- Customer service experience is necessary.
- Oracle financials experience is advantageous.
- Proven experience within commercial credit control, preferably gained in a global environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.
- Self motivated & good team player.
- Passionate about customer service.
