Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a leading retailer based in North Yorkshire who are now looking for a new Commercial Finance Analyst to join their finance team.

The role will be supporting the Commercial Finance Manager to drive through changes and to help challenge the business through value adding insight and analysis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified accountant who is looking to add to their commercial experience and be involved in some important decision making, having excellent exposure to the Senior Management Team. The role will suit someone ambitious and driven who is highly commercially minded with an analytical background ideally.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager your role will include the following duties:-

-Production of accurate and insightful reporting packs on a regular and ad hoc basis
-Scenario modelling to analyse sales performance, identify trends and support key decision making within finance and retail functions
-Calculate rebate payments and liaising with the field team to consolidate queries
-Production of insightful reporting pack
-Quarterly production of sales targets and producing an informative pack with useful summaries for the retail team
-Management of field team bonus approval process on a quarterly basis
-Management of capital expenditure
-Completion of month end tasks
-Business partner across the organisation with various non finance departments
