Assistant Accountant | £22K-£25K | Harrogate | Immediate Start
Axon Moore are proud to represent a growing SME based in Harrogate as they look to appoint an Assistant Accountant into their Finance team.
Assistant Accountant will be responsible for several key areas of the finance function.
Your day-to-day responsibilities as Assistant Accountant will include: • Reconciling bank accounts • Raising sales invoices • Arranging direct debit payments • Chasing debt • Collating payroll data to pass to outsourced service • Providing payroll reporting • Processing expense payments • Weekly banking • Assisting with the wider finance function
Skills as Assistant Accountant: • AAT Qualified preferred, consideration will be given for candidates with relevant experience in a similar role • Experience of Sage line 50 and Excel • Immediate availability
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to varied accounting tasks, within a successful business. Offered on a temporary basis, the role could convert into a permanent role
