Job Description
Financial Controller Location: Tameside, East Manchester Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
A family ran, highly successful FMCG business in Tameside are seeking a Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join them on a full time permanent basis. Working closely with the Finance Director and overseeing a team of 5 transactional staff, you will be responsible for:
Oversee all group accounts and investments Oversee and develop Group Structure in order to maximise Group Profits and minimise tax liabilities in constituent countries Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts. Production of year end statutory accounts for Group and all component entities Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports Production of regular Cash Flow forecasts for submission to Board of Directors. Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback Establish and implement financial reporting and control systems to comply with government regulations and legislation Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities Assist the Financial Director in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members
The ideal candidate will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified however would consider QBE with the relevant experience.
