Currently, we are recruiting a Newly Qualified Accountant to join a multinational organisation in Galway on a permanent full-time basis . Areas of responsibility will include: Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting close Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare payroll and reconcile on a monthly basis for employees Prepare VAT returns and other statutory returns Product cost reporting and analysis Ability to prepare and analyse data and create reports for management The successful candidate will have the following attributes: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Be a qualified accountant (ACA preferred) Have a broad knowledge of accounting and financial control principles Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
