Job Description
Cobalt is currently supporting a leading listed REIT in their search for an interim Group Accountant to support them over the coming months as they approach their half-year audit. Our client has had a very exciting past year and needs to hire an interim Group Accountant to support in the preparation of management accounts, preparing financial statements and being the key point of contact with auditors.
Key responsibilities: Preparation and review of consolidated financial statements compliant with IFRS within strict timelines Preparation of individual statutory financial statements for the subsidiaries compliant with FRS102 Preparation and review of consolidated management accounts, including posting journals Deal with external auditors and respond to any of their queries Ad hoc requests to support the finance team Requirements Working knowledge in the Real Estate industry Qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA) Immediately available/ 1 week notice period Strong knowledge and exposure to IFRS & FRS102
