Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network is a state-wide Specialty Health Network delivering health care to adults and young people in contact with the forensic mental health and criminal justice systems across community, inpatient and custodial settings. An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic applicant to join our professional team in an expanding and dynamic service.

The Corporate Governance Officer - Policy, Audit and Risk is an integral member of the Governance Unit and is responsible for coordinating the Network:
  • systems of policy development and review
  • internal audit programs including the follow-up and reporting on the implementation of audit recommendations
  • enterprise-wide risk reporting
  • systems of procedure development and review.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to apply these skills to problem solving and complex issues.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with senior managers, other professional and external agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workloads whilst undertaking a diverse range of tasks
  • Experience evaluating compliance with policy, standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce and present reports and submissions which summarise and present information at a senior level.
