- Management of a finance team of 3
- Monthly review of Aged Creditor Report with Purchase ledger clerk
- Review of weekly supplier payment run.
- Review of agents' monthly commission payments
- Monthly reconciliation of credit card statements
- Monthly reconciliation of staff expenses
- Preparation of supplier payments
- Monthly review of Aged Debtor Report with Credit Controllers
- Review & preparation of bad debt write offs.
- Bank Statement Reconciliations
- Maintaining the cashbook daily & ensuring it balances to accounting system.
- Handling all petty cash and journal postings to ensure that it reconciles to accounting system.
- Cashflow forecasting
- Prepare weekly Sales Report for Board of Directors.
- Foreign Currency Transactions
- Ad hoc General Ledger analysis
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of Accruals & Prepayment schedules
- Posting month end journals
- Maintain fixed asset register.
- Preparation of customer turnover reports
- Calculation of salesman commission
- Calculation of rebate provision
- Gross Margin Analysis
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Inter Company reconciliations
- Monthly reporting to HMRC of EC Sales
- Main point of contact for Year End financial audit
- Preparation of year end audit files
- Preparation & submission of quarterly VAT Returns
- Preparation of Qtrly wages reconciliation
