Think Accountancy and Finance are supporting a business based in Welwyn Garden City in recruiting a newly qualified Management Accountant. Our client is a leading Manufacturing company with sites all over the country. Due to continued growth the company are looking to add to their finance team of 4 people. The position will report into the Finance Director.
Daily duties will include:
The ideal candidate will be newly qualified with no more than 2 years post qualification experience. Should you have European accounts experience this would be advantageous.

We specialise in permanent, temporary and contract recruitment with areas of expertise including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Finance Admin, Part Qualified Finance, Qualified Finance, Credit Control and Bookkeepers.

- Posting journals into the accounting system
- Reconciling turnover
- Verifying that transactions entered into the accounting system are correct
- Preparing and presenting monthly financial statements to the Finance Director to include profit & loss, balance sheet & cash flow statements for all group companies
- Reconciling monthly balance sheets
- Fixed assets, debtors, creditors, stock & work in progress, prepayments, intercompany accounts, PAYE & NIC, CIS tax, and VAT & accruals
- Analysing and reporting with commentary on the financial performance
- UK GAAP
- Ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis
