Job Title: Account Assistant
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: 21,000K-24,000K
The Role
Our client is an award-winning metal finishing company based in Leeds but serving the whole UK. They offer a comprehensive range of metal finishing services including electro-plating, Anodising, Phosphating, Powder Coating and much more. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to provide support for the finance and admin function.
Finance duties:
· All aspects of Purchase Ledger.
· Credit Control.
· Weekly payroll.
· Nominal postings and journals.
· Daily banking and reconciliation.
· VAT reconciliation and submissions.
· Month end routines.
· Monthly accrual and prepayment reports.
· Year end schedules.
· Nest pensions.
HR duties:
· Maintain employee records.
Monitor the Infotime staff clocking system.
· Monitor employee holidays.
Assist the Managing Director with any ad hoc duties when required.
This is a diverse and fast-paced role which requires an individual who is fully committed.
Experience of working in an industrial environment is preferred.
