Finance Manager

Michael Page are partnering exclusively with a growing company near Maidenhead looking for a Finance Manager to join the team. This is a newly created position in the finance team due to growth and offers a great opportunity for development in a varied role.

Our client is an innovative growing company located near Maidenhead providing business management and software services. They work with a wide variety of clients and well known industry names across the UK, Europe and USA.

Description

• Management of month end reporting, including preparation of US GAAP reporting package and UK Group consolidation.
• Prepare Year-end Statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
• Manage quarterly and annual audit processes, working directly with the external auditors
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Management of financial audits and year end tax filings, coordinating with other finance team members
• Assist with the analysis for preparation of quarterly corporate tax provisions
• Assist FP&A team with the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasting
• Participate in the design and creation of financial reports and other financial metric reporting
• Maintain a Sarbanes Oxley approach to process and control documentation
• Provide accurate and timely financial information and insights to business owners to aid in decision making

Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualifed chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with detailed knowledge of UK GAAP for Statutory reporting and knowledge of US GAAP. You will be looking to take on responsibility in a varied role, with strong problem-solving skills and excellent communications skills both with internal departments and external clients. You will be proficient using finance systems (in particular Oracle) and have strong skills in MS Office.
