About the role
The Head of Working Capital & Treasury oversees the working capital and treasury functions of the Australian and New Zealand business units. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and managing a team of two analysts, responsibilities include:
- Primarily focusing on driving the efficiency in working capital and cash flow
- Preparing the budget and rolling forecast (for working capital, cash flow and below-EBITDA P&L lines)
- Tracking and reporting the actual performance, analysing the variances versus budget and forecast, and continuously improving the forecast accuracy
- Managing the treasury operations, including but not limit to bank accounts, bank payments, forex requirements, loans, guarantees
- Managing the relationships with banking partners
- Performing the period end closing routines
- Driving the continuous improvement of working capital and treasury related processes
About you
- Tertiary qualification in a strong numerical discipline - preferably Accounting, Finance or Economics (CPA/CA highly advantageous)
- Strong proficiency in reporting and analysis
- Experience in managing working capital and treasury operations
- Team leadership experience
- Exceptional strategic problem solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
