Department Overview:

Our Citi ICG Technology organization is looking for an Order Management System (OMS) Senior BA/PM for the EMEA region, based in Belfast.

The strategic OMS under development will support both sales and trading workflows across key products traded in equities: cash, programs, listed derivatives (options, futures, etc.), delta one (single stock and index swaps), ETF, convertible bonds, vanilla OTC products, and FX.

The successful candidate will focus on Delta One, and ETF business lines with the goal to deliver the strategic OMS solution to Sales and Trading Desks in EMEA and integrate with the global execution workflow.

This is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:
  • As an integral part of OMS development team, work with EMEA Flow Index, Forwards, and ETF businesses to understand and manage key functional requirements.
  • Actively contribute to workflow design and OMS data model architecture.
  • Closely partner with Compliance, Market Risk, Operational Risk and other groups to manage and implement control requirements.
  • Actively contribute to Quality Assurance strategy and individual test plans.
  • Manage dependencies and partner with other technology groups to integrate the OMS with the strategic services to manage limits, controls, entitlements, sales & trading coverage, connectivity, etc.
  • Closely partner with middle office, production support, quality assurance, and other teams
  • Provide input during development and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects
  • Generate detailed business requirements for development team
  • Develop additional project artifacts as necessary including Functional Requirements Documentation (FRD's), test planning and scenario documents for user acceptance testing (UAT), project plans as required for all key technical deliveries
  • Identify key project risks and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly
  • Standardize project governance and reporting, establish a set of clear metrics that represent measurement of progress
  • Develop excellent understanding of the technology strategy, and work across organizational boundaries to influence drive to common / component reuse
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in a IT Business Lead Analyst role
  • Good understanding of Equities Delta One, ETF, or Program Trading business.
  • Practical experience with Index and ETF compositions reference data.
  • Good understanding of proxy pricing and proxy hedging techniques.
  • Experience with MIFID2 regulation and controls.
  • Experience with Brexit projects.
  • Proven past success of delivery to front office.
  • Strong knowledge of FIX protocol as applied to trading and RFQ.
  • Solid understanding of data structures and modern technology architecture and design patterns.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant field.
  • Master's degree preferred
