This is a Transformation Finance Business Partner role with an employer who is currently going under a huge amount of change. It's a truly wide-reaching role with a lot of senior stakeholder engagement and a chance to make a genuine impact.
Client Details
My client are a large national PLC, currently in the process of a huge regeneration and transformation. They hire very high calibre individuals and have a great track record of progression.
Description
- Finance lead at regular work stream review meetings to review and challenge results whilst adding qualitative value to financial information.
- Act as the programme's finance representative at 'change' meetings and feedback the relevant information to the wider finance team whilst assessing the potential CAPEX impact of any potential changes to the programme.
- Act as the lead and 'go to' person for CAPEX approval papers, ensuring financial information is extensive and accurate prior to its submission to board.
- Support in the production and management of the business case model, ensuring best practice modeling is in place throughout the case.
- Review financial performance information and plans - including the annual budget and the division's monthly management accounts & forecasting, to ensure they are robust and accurately reflect key business issues
Profile
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified with a minimum of 2 years PQE
- Proven track record in analytical skills, attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Knowledge and understanding of management and financial accounting processes and systems.
- Demonstrable experience in Business Partnering and a passion for building successful relationship with the business
- Proven ability to present a compelling argument through written, numerical and oral presentations
- Ability and flexibility to plan, organise and prioritise workloads to achieve pre-determined deadlines with ad hoc requests
- Demonstrable influencing skills indicating an ability to challenge appropriately at all levels
