We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a successful global consulting company specialising in aligning bespoke, flexible resourcing solutions to financial services clients in areas of change management, remediation, technology and advisory projects.
You will:
• Communicate with colleagues and clients to understand the needs of the business
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, investigate and feedback findings into the development process
• Analyse your findings and suggest strategic and operational improvements and changes
• Develop BA documentation e.g., Project Initiation Documents, Use Cases, User Stories, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Business Requirement Documents, Test Cases etc.
• Help identify required process and technology enhancements
• Help identify opportunities and potential risks
• Facilitate workshops and gain agreement from accountable stakeholders on proposals
• Communicate the benefits of your recommendations and produce written documentation to support your work, presenting to stakeholders where necessary
• Support the Project Manager across all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Undertake other Transformation & Change lifecycle roles/responsibilities as required
Requirements
• 3 years+ in Analysis
• 2 years+ in Investment Banking
• Drafting formal project documentation
• Business requirements definition
• Use cases / user stories
• Process modelling
• Testing
• Implementation - including training
• Functional v non-functional requirements
• Familiar with project lifecycle principles - structured waterfall and agile approaches
• Demonstrate minimum levels of proficiency, knowledge and interest in Transformation & Change disciplines generally - project management, PMO in particular
• Stakeholder management and a clear, confident communication style
• At ease interacting with people at different levels across business and technology
Benefits
£40-£55,000 depending on experience
