A highly successful and growing chartered accountancy practice, based in Bristol has a requirement for an experienced VAT Manager to join their highly regarded team, in a role focusing on advisory work in a key support role with progression and development on offer. Given the depth and quality of firms clients, the role also offers exposure to challenging and interesting work.

Description

Joining the Bristol team at VAT Manager you will carve a key position within this growing team working directly with partners/directors and teams across the firm delivering VAT compliance, with an ever increasing focus on advisory project work. The work will be varied with an advisory focus, alongside some compliance with a decent involvement in client facing work and you will also benefit from a clear progression path on offer as a key addition to this successful team. Just some examples of work that you will get involved in here include delivering VAT advisory solutions across property on transactions, with movements of assets with associated VAT advice. Other examples include Brexit related issues, which are ever increasing with advice on EU supply chain analysis and import/export scenarios along with lots of clients diversifying into all sorts of different areas requiring help and advice on VAT. You will have opportunity to carve a key position here and progress in this team and firm.

Profile

You will be any of CTA/ACCA/ACA qualified etc or highly experienced through your career history specialising within VAT. Your background may have been gained in any accountancy practice firm background from Top Tier firm through to Mid Tier/Top 50 and independent firm environment. Or you have have industry career history with exposure to varied VAT issues, and/or have a background in HMRC specialising in VAT and be looking to transfer these skills into the accounting profession. You are likely to have developed your career to VAT Manager levels and be looking for a career move where you can progress and develop within your career.

Job Offer

£45,000 - £55,000 dependent on the experience and background of the right professional, plus benefits and bonus.
