Ensure the delivery of a well-controlled, efficient and effective service covering: income accounting, bank and other control account reconciliations, recharges, and intercompany reconciliation.

Description
Maintain and ensure the full reconciliation of bank, control and intercompany accounts and all its subsidiaries
Ensuring the accurate and timely posting of all transactions from interfaces into Agresso (CARE & EPOS) and that any issues are quickly identified and resolved
Monthly, ensure the accurate and timely posting of all expenditure, income and recharges in Agresso and liaising with Income Processing units, Business partnering and other finance teams (i.e. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, AFIHUB) that any issues are quickly identified and resolved
Ensuring the bank, general ledger and other standing data modules in the Financial system (Agresso) are updated accordingly (i.e. journals and bank statements)
Posting of month-end related journals including Accruals, Prepayments, Recharges, Recodes and Revaluations
Provide and maintain a strong financial control framework
Identify areas where processes could be improved and take the lead in implementing relevant changes and streamlining existing processes
Daily treasury related tasks which includes the review of main bank accounts to ensure balances sufficient to meet expenditure plans. Setting up of bank line payments when required
Ensure intercompany balances are prepared and agreed for all entities monthly and are settled periodically. All queries are followed up with Business Partnering and entities
Take responsibility for refunds as required by the Fundraising team, liaising with the Legal team to ensure they are dealt with appropriately.
Liaise with payment platforms; WorldPay, PayPal, and others as applicable
Profile
- Strong Excel - Pivot tables, Vlook ups
- Strong Reconciliations experience
- Agresso experience
- Ability to manipulate large volumes of data
- Experience of working in a Charity before
Job Offer
£26-31k depending on experience on a 12 month FTC
