Search Talent are working on an exciting assignment with our key client, a global leader in communications to hire their Head of Accounting and Treasury. This is an fantastic opportunity to oversee and lead the strategic direction of Irish financial matters of a global brand.

This role will partner with the executive team, providing high quality financial support by overseeing daily accounting and reporting activities. The Head of Accounting & Treasury will ensure SLAs from off-shore accounting & reporting functions are met and will drive continuous improvement. Other responsibilities include management of the local Treasury back-office, owning the close process, lead complex accounting matters, amongst other duties.

This is a perfect opportunity for a confident decision maker who is competent in coping with uncertainty and risk, advising and making recommendations on short timescales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and senior management, ideally with a PLC. You should have exposure to a complex technology-driven, project-based environment, extensive knowledge and experience with SOX and strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
