The Role Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Within the Information and Cyber Security and CSS Ops, Role is responsible for end to end delivery of Strategic and Transformational large and / or complex re-platforming of applications and reporting.

Business
  • Understanding of wholesale banking products and banks operational model.
  • Creating and maintaining a prioritized Product Backlog.
  • Responsible for BAU activities to maintain assigned applications on the COOL Platform.
  • Responsible for maximizing the business value of the product and be accountable for successful delivery and BAU.
  • Eliciting requirements from front facing staff & stakeholders across various business segments, product lines and functions.
  • Refining the vision/ strategy and drive 'our digital / data journey'
  • Responsible for tracking benefits realization and adoption on an ongoing basis

Processes

  • Clearly communicating priorities, sprint goals and acceptance criteria to the scrum team
  • Defining user stories to facilitate clear communication of requirements to the scrum team, including 'definition of done'.
  • Act as a key player in the different events of the development cycle: daily scrums, team demos and retrospectives, SIT, UAT and sign-off from business stakeholders.
  • Review test cases and evidence to ensure enough test coverage
  • Ensuring submission of progress reports, benefits reports, red packs and closure reports to governance forums.
  • Provide input during the Agile ceremonies - sprint planning, review, retrospective demos, refinement sessions
  • Inspect the product progress at the end of every Sprint and accept or reject work done
  • Contribute to continuous improvement with business feedback/vision (covered during the retrospective)
  • Conduct research to see what's new and trending in the digital / data space internally and externally
  • Basic Project Management: Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to apply the principles, tools and techniques to develop/plan, manage or execute projects or work plans to ensure successful completion (e.g., on time, within budget).

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience in large-scale projects/programs with significant change impact and multiple dependencies within and across organizational boundaries.
  • Expertise in Data Analytics
