Management Accountant

Page Personnel are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a successful global PLC, this role will report directly to a Financial Controller and be based within a large accountancy function.

This Warrington business have grown dramatically over the past 5 years mostly by acquisition and are now at the end of a centralisation project, this management accountant is the final addition to the experienced team of 30. This business are a global market leader and have a fantastic reputation in the UK. The business offer a varied solution to the industrial market.

Description

This Management Accountant role will include;

*Supporting the Financial Controller with all month-end tasks as required.

*Supporting the Financial Controller with the production of monthly management accounts packs including contract and overhead reports.

*Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for review.

*Responsible for accruals and prepayments for overhead cost centres.

*Collation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.

*Preparation of weekly cash forecasts for review.

*Supporting the Financial Controller with improving finance reports and process.

*Supporting the Financial Controller with preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.

*Support for the finance team with ad hoc reporting and processing as required

Profile

This role is best suited to a part qualified accountant with a strong foundation of experience working as an Assistant Accountant. This role will require experience with;

*Month end accounts

*Analysis

*Working to deadlines

*CIMA or ACCA mid-level and above

*Excellent systems experience and a minimum of intermediate excel knowledge (VLOOKUPs and Pivots included)
