Analyst / Finance Business Partner

Analyst Your new company You will be working for a global distributor and provider of value-added services which works with leading suppliers worldwide. Your new role Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Working Capital Analyst to join the FSS team based in Bradford. Initial focus will be on partnering with commercial teams to enhance vendor payment terms and improvement of Working Capital reporting. There will be opportunities to work on other key areas as the role matures. Reporting into the FSS CI Manager, you will cover four key areas of support in this engaging role. Business partnering & data analysis Build relationships with key stakeholders identifying the key data required for each country/product group Analyse data to identify WC improvement opportunities per country / per product group Partner with commercial teams to follow through on these opportunities Develop understanding of Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), purchase mix and key drivers for changes Reporting Development of efficient data consolidation Create relevant reports in Tableau / Every Angle Assess accuracy of AP flashes Build Forecast / AOP models per country Approval Assist on approval of proforma payments and payment terms on new vendors. What you'll need to succeed Excellent communication skills and an ability to turn complex analysis into meaningful process change. A self-motivated, independent worker who is comfortable using reporting tools and capable of analysing information to develop commercial opportunities Recognised finance qualification an advantage (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) A demonstrable history of leading and supporting process improvements, preferably in Finance functions. A dynamic person comfortable working with multiple stakeholders who possesses a determination to drive improvements where they see opportunities for change.
