Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical is currently running a global Information Protect programme to protect the most critical and sensitive information and operational assets.

This programme is looking for an experienced business / technical analyst to produce high–quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of the Information Protection team. The analyst will be responsible for creating and writing various types of design and architecture documentation, including Visio workflows to complement the documentation.

Proven skills of analysis:

* Ability to efficiently communicate with, and effectively gather requirements from, a diverse stakeholder group.
* Writing functional architectural and design specs specifications for application development.
* Proven ability to effectively prioritise within a multi–tasking environment. Must be able to work in a cross matrix organisational structure.

The person must have experience mapping business processes and identifying data flows. The candidate will be working with the information security project team to implement information protection improvements into mapped business processes. The candidate will be interacting with senior business executives in both the business and IT organisations.

To identify current 'as–is' legacy design and architecture processes and structure and feed them into the broader transformation agenda with assessment as to how they fit the against the target operating model. Where new processes are being embedded, the analyst will need to assess the benefits and impact and feed back to the delivery team.

Key responsibilities are:

* Work with internal team to obtain an in–depth understanding of the Strategy & Architecture team processes and the documentation requirements.
* Analyse existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single–sourcing opportunities.
* Produce high–quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
* Write easy–to–understand, clear and concise documentation.
* Meet with team, customer and stakeholder representative to establish documentation specifics.
* Ensure any technical verbiage is easy to understand by the layperson.
* Gather information on the subject matter area.
* Prepare Visio workflows to go along with procedure documentation.
* Submit draft of procedures for team review and feedback.
* Adjust drafts as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling.
* Follow the Corporate Written Standards process and Department SOPs.
* Release and coordinate the procedure following final approval.
* Provide updates and document versioning as necessary.
* Ensure publication in the appropriate repository.

Skills required:

* Proven working experience in analysis and technical writing of documentation (5 years+)
* Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into requirements.
* Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail.
* Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and make them easily understandable.
* Ability to work independently and demonstrate a persistent drive to completion
* Excellent written skills in English.
* Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
* Advanced MS Office Skills (inc Visio)
* A bachelor's degree is desired.
* Pharmaceutical and Healthcare experience preferred
* Desirable: Previous experience of working in an IT Architecture environment
* Desirable: Experience in Lean Sigma
