Ready to face new challenges? At Markem-Imaje we’re hiring a very dynamic and ambitious SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST (Supply Chain Finance) to join our FP&A Team in Nottingham.

Your mission will be…

To assume planning and finance business partnership role supporting Global Supply Chain unit. Includes the compilation of cost information for product Standard Costs, including Margin and Variances Analyses, as well as Business Case Modelling to support Global Initiatives. Investigate, analyse and prepare complex financial and business information, in support of various functional groups.

You’ll be responsible for…

  • Developing and driving accuracy of Cost Model database
  • Review issues of material to production orders to bill of material for significant variances and take corrective actions as needed
  • Perform all inventory accounting (including standard cost analysis and implementing costing rates,…) and reporting functions, including E&O provision calculation
  • Monitor Purchase price variances for repeated variances or potential costing/bill of material errors. Drive material cost, bill of material, and planned price changes as required, ensuring accurate standard costing
  • Prepare assigned account reconciliations by due date, insure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), US GAAP and all M-I Policies
  • Support Operations with budgeting, planning and forecasting for UK Supply Chain Operations
  • Support/develop Global Landing cost model, maintain, analyse the Global model, including Deal Profitability analysis, and propose corrective actions/improvements,
  • Work on ad-hoc analysis when required
  • Support Global Manufacturing Management in strategic projects
  • Act as a backup for FP&A R&D Analyst when needed

Few things about your experience and abilities:

  • BA Degree in Accounting / Finance or business related
  • 5 years in FP&A function in a manufacturing environment with a minimum 3 years manufacturing cost accounting
  • Masters Accounting / Finance or business related and minimum 3 years manufacturing cost accounting
  • SAP experience, at least FI/CO Key user Level
  • High energy, pro-active and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Able to work in a matrix organization with a diverse work-team
