Description

  • Using MS Office and other commercial software applications to capture, build, maintain and develop data sets in support of line management decision making.
  • Acting as an IT mentor and advocate to the wider organization sharing your skills and knowledge.
  • Assisting in the development and testing of business hypotheses, being creative, testing boundaries.
  • Creating and communicating compelling stories using data, that assist and enhance the quality of the management decision making process.
  • Being a team player - contributing to the company culture during growth and structural change.
  • Working actively across all functions of the business to support, develop and coach all levels of the business in data led decision making.

Profile

  • Commercially focused problem solver.
  • Flexible self-starter- comfortable working on own initiative.
  • Strong IT generalist- willing to adapt and improvise.
  • Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, lookups, data set connection and manipulation.
  • Fast learner - enjoys engaging with commercial software - e.g. Google Analytics etc.
  • Curiosity for all things digital and data.
  • Eye for detail and methodical approach.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Evidence of engaging with people to build strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Enthusiasm for developing ideas and influencing thoughts.
  • A record of delivering projects in an efficient and effective manner.
  • You could be a Graduate - looking for first career step.

Job Offer

  • Immediate start available (and ideal!)
  • This is a permanent full-time role (not remote working)
  • The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm with an hour for lunch (35 hours)
  • We can offer parking on site.
  • We run an auto-enrolment pension scheme, eligible after 3 months.
