Short Term Position- Payroll Technician
We are currently looking for a Payroll Technician to work with one of our key clients based in the heart of Stockport. This is a short term position working in a great working environment. The position is an on going temporary position however there is a possibility of going permanent for the successful candidate should they be interested. The successful candidate will need to have intermediate excel knowledge for example using formulas like V-look-ups and Pivot tables.
Duties will include:
-Ensuring all required wages information is received in time for payroll deadlines.
-Entering all payroll information into the payroll database.
- Follow the version control procedures set out by company.
- Deal with pay increases of employees.
-Performing Accuracy checks on data as per the payroll procedures
-General administration i.e. filing all payroll, dealing with queries etc
- Payroll Technician experience desirable but not essential.
-Be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
-Be able to prioritise own workload in order to meet demanding deadlines
-Have good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
-Have excellent oral and written communication skills
Monday to Friday
9AM to 5.30PM.
Pay Rate: £11.29/HOUR
Location: Centre of Stockport
