A highly unique Head of Finance opportunity has arisen within a high-growth online retail business in Warwickshire.

Client Details

Plainly, this organisation is a truly entrepreneurial business with remarkable YOY growth (400% in 2 years) and plans to continue to evolve (another 400% in 5 years). Owned by an inspiring couple, the business has developer into a multi-channel retail and distribution organisation.

There is unlikely to be a faster paced, higher growth organisation in the Midlands offering this type of opportunity.


The speed at which the organisation has experienced this growth has created some growing pains that the leadership are urgently looking to address. Alongside the recently appointed HR Manager, Buying Manager and IT Manager, this Head of Finance role is a crucial hire to set-up and develop all financial processes and systems.

This will be a cradle to grave opportunity - taking all reporting responsibility from the external accountants, sourcing and implementing processes and policies whilst creating a control framework that the business can begin to work with.

This role will not be for the faint-hearted and will require someone with the vision and strategic foresight alongside the ability to be hands on and into the detail.

As an example; Initial tasks will be literally include the creation of basic accounting ledgers.


The ideal profile for this role will be someone who has worked as a Head of Finance (or similar) within faced paced and high growth environment previously - ideally within the consumer led industry. You will be a qualified accountant, most likely with training from an accounting firm, with the ability and desire to be both strategic, commercial and hands-on.

Job Offer

Flexible salary c£70,000 - £80,000 + limited benefits.
