Job role
Our client, a rapidly growing financial services firm with offices in the heart of the City, is seeking an Operations & Settlements Administrator to join their busy team.

Working as a pivotal part of a deadline driven team, duties of the Operations & Settlements Administrator will include:

*Checking trades booked onto the internal system to email confirmations and next day
trade re-cap reports
*Investigating where trade details do not agree
*Reconciling entries on Primary Banking Nostros to the internal system, and
investigating any discrepancies
*Ensuring correct banking charges have been applied
*Reconciling entries on Broker statements to the internal database, and printing
statements for all accounts
*Inputting any relevant charges, and credit or debit interest, onto the internal
*Ensuring that all Bank and Broker statements are received in a timely manner
*Creating and actioning payments using the online banking system
*Liaising with clients, brokers and banks in order to facilitate the efficient
settlement of FX transactions and dependent cash flows

To secure this role, you will require:
*Previous experience within Settlements/Operations or payments is essential
*SWIFT experience is also required
*The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
*Strong numerical ability and a keen eye for detail
*Willingness to work as part of a team, as well as autonomously when required
*The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
