Accounts Assistant

My client requires an experienced and stable candidate to join their busy yet small finance department in this immediate permanent vacancy. Due to the urgency of this role you will need to be available to interview this week and start immediately or within 1 weeks’ notice at the latest.

This is a terrific opportunity to join a small but busy departmemnt as an Assistant Accountant or Accounts Asisstany. My client offers a stable and friendly work environment with secure parking. This role would NOT suit an active studier due to the size of the department but they do however, offer a long term, committed opportunity.

The role will involve the below but not limited to:

* Double Entry Bookkeeping
* Journals
* Accruals
* Credit Control
* Purchase Ledger
* Expenses
* Payment runs
* Bank Reconciliations

Lastly assisting the Finance Manager with any other more complex duties.
In order to be considered you will need to have the following:

* Demonstrable Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant level work
* Intermediate Excel (pivot tables and v look ups)
* Availability within 1 week's notice and can interview this week
* Sage line 50 experience desirable
* Supervisory to team leadership is an advantage as overseeing one person

Please NO active CIMA or ACCA studiers as this role does not have the progression suggested for anyone of the ilk.
