A superb opportunity exists to join a well established and successful IFA firm as a Paraplanner to provide technical and administration support to their Consultants and provide a first class back office function to clients;

Day to day you will be responsible for the following;

v Pre-meeting preparation and compilation of client information

v Completion of meeting notes and fact finds where appropriate

v Investment research

v Risk profiling and portfolio construction

v Asset allocation

v Carry out product research and selection obtaining relevant KFI’s

v Collect all relevant data and analysis accordingly

v Provide full compliance support

v Full case management following sign ups, extensive liaison with admin dept’s, insurance companies, clients and consultants as appropriate

v Attend client meetings as and when required

The successful candidate will ideally possess the “Diploma” in Financial Services, and have technical knowledge and experience of Offshore bonds, Collective holdings, Trusts, SIPP’s, DFM, Investment platforms, pension switching, benefit crystallisation and inheritance tax planning. You will be professional, passionate about the industry, and be highly motivated with a desire to succeed. You will be able to work under pressure, show excellent attention to detail and has personal pride producing high quality work.

You MUST be level 4 Diploma qualified working towards chartered status and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the financial services sector ideally gained within an IFA practice.
