Our client is looking to bring in an Assistant Accountant to help support the finance team during a project. They are currently in the process of modernising the business so looking for someone who can add real value to the business and is keen for progression.
Well known technology firm.
The duties will include but are not limited to :-
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparing accounts
Initially they need a candidate whom can come in and hit the ground running doing transactional duties and being very up to scratch doing accounts payable and receivable on Sage. Over time they would ideally be looking for someone to push forward and start preparing accounts and taking on more responsibility.
The perfect candidate should have :-
- Started their ACCA or CIMA and looking to become fully qualified
- In depth experience using Sage in a workplace is essential
- 3+ years experience in a finance role doing transactional tasks (AP & AR)
- Drive and ambition to progress to Financial Controller level
The candidate also needs to be either immediately available or available with 1 weeks notice at most.
