Elliott Recruitment are pleased to represent a Middlesbrough based client with an immediate vacancy for an Accounts Assistant.

My client a customer service driven organisation and a market leader in their field have an immediate vacancy for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small head office team.

Working 9 am –5.30 pm Monday to Friday you will work closely with the Accounts Manager looking after a range of accountancy functions including:

-Sales Ledger

-Purchase Ledger

-Reconciling bank accounts

-Reconciling petty cash

-Managing company credit cards

The successful candidate will have previous accounts assistant / bookkeeping experience. Good working knowledge of Sage 50 is essential as is the ability to work independently and use your initiative to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Knowledge of CIS payments would also be advantageous but is not essential. Own transport would also be beneficial due to my client’s location.
