We are currently working with a market leading outsourced accountancy with a highly professional offering. They are looking to bring on board a Payroll Officer who will be responsible for monitoring and preparing client payroll and invoices.
The Payroll Officer will be responsible for monitoring new starters, processing changes to T&Cs and corresponding with customers and clients to answer queries.
The package for this role includes a salary of up to £18k and a wealth of perks including employee discounts, childcare vouchers and your birthday off work.
Responsibilities include:
*Ensuring payroll, timesheet and contract procedures are completed effectively, accurately and in a timely manner
*Completing month end procedures and reconciliation, ensuring all payments and timesheets are paid correctly and on time to third party bodies and directly to contractors
*Monitoring new starters and leavers, processing changes to terms and conditions of employment and pay changes
*Raising invoices from remittances, issue contracts to clients and process and payroll requirements in a timely manner
*Understanding of agencies payroll and timesheet deadlines to ensure a smooth process for all involved
Skills & Experience required:
*Minimum 1 Year Payroll Experience
*Proven experience of working under pressure in a fast paced environment
*Strong communication skills
*Educated to GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent
