Page Personnel are recruiting a Payroll Clerk to join an Accountancy Practice in Macclesfield.
A well-established business, with a great staff atmosphere, are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join their team.
The Payroll Clerk will report to the Partner and will be responsible for processing monthly and weekly payroll for a number of clients.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll
- Processing client payroll
- Processing of pensions under the Workplace Pensions Regulations
- Producing payslips in a timely and efficient manner
- Answering complex payroll queries
- Other ad hoc duties
The successful candidate will:
- Have worked in a payroll bureau environment
- Be confident in all aspects of weekly and monthly payroll
- Have strong knowledge of SSP, SMP, and Auto-enrolment
£23,000 salary + generous holiday allowance + generous pension scheme + training + other great benefits
