Page Personnel are recruiting a Payroll Clerk to join an Accountancy Practice in Macclesfield.

Client Details

A well-established business, with a great staff atmosphere, are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join their team.


The Payroll Clerk will report to the Partner and will be responsible for processing monthly and weekly payroll for a number of clients.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll
  • Processing client payroll
  • Processing of pensions under the Workplace Pensions Regulations
  • Producing payslips in a timely and efficient manner
  • Answering complex payroll queries
  • Other ad hoc duties


The successful candidate will:

  • Have worked in a payroll bureau environment
  • Be confident in all aspects of weekly and monthly payroll
  • Have strong knowledge of SSP, SMP, and Auto-enrolment

Job Offer

£23,000 salary + generous holiday allowance + generous pension scheme + training + other great benefits
