The Job:

We are delighted to be assisting our client with their requirement for an Investment Operations Analyst. This is a superb opportunity to working with the Investment Operations Project Manager and assist with tracking regulatory change and overseeing and managing appropriate implementation. Providing technical and regulatory advice to Investment Operations/Management and facilitating changes to the Investment Management Approach.

Key responsibilities:

- Monitoring industry and regulatory developments
- Maintaining Funds Regulatory Group (FRG) log with relevant information, present to FRG and Funds Group as required
- Support FRG's oversight of implementation of regulatory change, undertaking and presenting impact analysis
- Identify and escalate potential regulatory or legal matters as appropriate
- Provide sound advice and opinion as required
- Maintaining regulatory awareness and knowledge of industry driven initiatives and development
- Possess good knowledge of Collective Investment Schemes, FCA rulebooks COLL, COBS & SYSC
- Support fund and product development
- Assisting the team with the oversight of investment advisers
- Provide technical and administrative support to IMA phases delivering fund and investment adviser changes
- Assisting with the development of IMA project plans
- Liaising with third parties, assisting with and helping to resolve queries and issues
- Facilitating documentation requirements and market opening
- Assisting with the preparation of project updates/reporting
- Supporting the initial due diligence visits to new Investment Advisers

The Person:

For this role, our client is seeking someone with the following experience and skills:

* Sound regulatory knowledge of collective investments and investment management

* Proven industry experience or in a similar role

* Ability to analyse new and changing regulation (across various jurisdictions an advantage)

* Able to work on own initiative and seek appropriate guidance when required

* Confident to communicate at all levels both written and in person

* A good team player with a can-do attitude

* CISI Affiliate or similar industry qualification/membership

The Benefits;

The Salary:

c£40 45,000 + Substantial Annual Performance Bonus (up to 20% Bonus) & Superb Benefits & Car Allowance of £6,200
