One of the premium construction businesses in the region are recruiting for an exciting role which will head up the production of financial forecasts and management information in a role which could ultimately lead to a Director position in this huge organisation.

This key appointment is ideal for a high flyer who is looking for progression in an environment which will present interesting and varied challenges on a day to day basis.

You will be a Qualified Accountant with a history within commercial finance who can step up into a Senior position and take on responsibility for business critical information.

Duties include:
-Prepare Company financial forecasts, Budget and 5 Year plan update (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash flow) for review with FP & A Director in line with reporting timetable.
-Undertake variance analysis of current forecast compared to Budget and previous forecasts
-Review the cash flow profile against Budget and previous forecasts to assess acceptability and accuracy
-Review long term forecasts against short term cash forecast to ensure these are consistent and in balance
-Maintain standard financial forecast models for Company and regions
-Work with FP & A Director to develop financial forecasting systems and procedures
-Undertake development work on financial forecast models as required
-Prepare weekly flash report on the first day of the week reflecting on the previous week's activities and outlook for current month and quarter.
-Prepare month end results analysis (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash flow)
-Prepare key financial information and key performance indicators for inclusion in Board reports
-Oversee the preparation of the monthly board pack.
-Preparation of ad-hoc reporting as required
-Work with the systems team to drive greater usage of the system in financial reporting systems and procedures.
-Development of QMS procedures and implementation of procedural change
-Provide support in the preparation for the annual audit
