Leading Tax Recruiter Clark Wood are currently working with this well renowned and highly reputable national firm of accountants who are seeking to add a driven Corporate Tax Senior to the team in their Manchester office.
Through organic growth and acquisitions, our client is one of the leading firms across the UK to the mid-market place, offering employees the chance to gain exposure to a real mix of clients from Sole Traders through to large corporate companies, groups, and PLCs.
Our client is looking for an individual to look after the corporation tax affairs for a portfolio of corporate clients (mixture of sectors/standalone companies and group, for both OMB and AIM clients).
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to join a leading firm where there will be excellent scope for career progression.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation of tax provisions for audit/accounts purposes
Preparation of corporation tax returns/tax computations
Advising clients of corporation tax liabilities and managing their statutory deadlines
Dealing with HM Revenue & Customs correspondence on behalf of the companies
Supervise junior staff involved in corporation tax work
Various ad hoc consultancy work as it arises on the client portfolio
Other opportunities for advisory work (international tax, property, R&D/transactional support & due diligence assignments)
Attend and participate in internal technical updates to comply with CIOT CPD requirements (and other relevant bodies).
Various administrative duties/portfolio management including involvement in billing and managing WIP
Skills:
CTA Qualified / Part Qualified or ACA / ACCA qualified (preferably first time passes)
Experience of working in either a mixed tax or sole Corporation Tax focused role
